It Doesn’t Belong to You
Why are you holding so tight
To a battle that’s never been yours?
You are only spinning your wheels
And the point of the battle has blurred.
Meanwhile, I stand at your door knocking,
Willing and ready to step in
But somehow, you won’t let go.
Of this battle, you simply can’t win
Often, battles in the heavenly realms,
Are aimed at people who live on Earth.
And those who I have chosen as mine,
Are targeted from the day of their birth.
Still, it cannot be your battle;
You aren’t equipped for this kind of war.
These forces worship only evil,
An evil you’ve not seen before.
But I’ve seen all of their moves,
They know they are no match for me.
So they try to pull you into their darkness
Hoping they can sow unbelief.
So child, put on all of your amour,
And prepare to fight in a different way.
You can help to vanquish this evil,
If you get on your knees and pray.
I know you are willing to fight for your God,
Still, some battles will never be yours.
For when the opponent is supernatural,
The battle belongs to the Lord.
