Confident in My Savior

I’m confident in my Savior.
I’m at home in my own skin.
I’m not afraid of the evil one
Nor am I haunted by my sin.

I’m co-heir with the body of Christ,
To eternal life in God’s Kingdom.
And as part of our our inheritance,
We have eternal freedom.

I’m no longer a slave of Satan’s
I have long sinced died to sin.
I became a new creation
When I allowed Jesus to step in

The liar has no standing,
His tricks have become moot.
For the safety I have in Jesus          The enemy can’t refute.

If ever I give into hate,
Or allow my heart to become grievous,
I can instantly turn back to love
When I call on the name of Jesus.

So, I’m confident in my Savior.
I trust my Father to be on my side.
I’m not afraid of the accuser
And I’m protected from his lies.
